• If you are unwell or exhibiting symptoms such as fever and/or respiratory difficulties, it is important that you do not attend your testing appointment and cancel or reschedule it in advance.
• Check your government’s official advice if you think you may be subject to travel restrictions. It is recommended that you do this before booking or travelling for a test.
• In some locations, it may be mandatory to provide evidence of being fully vaccinated against Covid-19 unless you have a medical exemption. It is important that you understand vaccination requirements in your location before attending your PTE test appointment to avoid being refused entry to the test centre.
• If you think your test centre location may be closed or at risk of closing, please actively monitor your email account as you will automatically be sent a cancellation notice in advance.

PTE Test Centers Covid Guidelines – attending your appointment

• You may be required to bring and wear a face mask during your test appointment.
• Wash your hands or use a hand sanitiser upon arrival at the test centre.
• Please cover your nose and mouth in case of sneezing or coughing.
• You may be asked to acknowledge that you have not been in contact with any affected persons and that you are not exhibiting any symptoms.
• Some test centre may require candidates to provide a temperature check upon arrival.
• You may be allowed to wear disposable gloves during the test. However, these gloves will be examined both before and after the test.

PTE Centre – cancellation and rescheduling your test appointment

• If Pearson is required to suspend tests at a test centre, they will email all test takers with an appointment or cancellation notice
• Test takers who paid by credit or debit card will be automatically refunded their test fees
• Test takers who booked using a voucher will be able to book an alternative appointment using the same code when appointments are available
