The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has finally concluded the second lottery drawn under the usual limitation for H-1B visas, which has been set to 65,000 in fiscal year 2025. The H-1B visa permits many Indian national employees to arrive to seek employment in the US every year. FND Overseas Education provides comprehensive help for H-1B visa processing and guarantees that all standards are met flawlessly.

Second Round of Selection

To satisfy its regular cap of 65,000 visas per year, administered a second h-1b lottery draw. This piece has been necessary since the original poll did not complete the desired number of placements. USCIS has notified all selected petitioners No one should file H-1B cap-subject petitions on behalf of an individual unless provided an Email notification Received Only. When it was possible to do so as directed in the applicable filing procedures (e.g., Form I-129 instructions). The second choice is to provide enough placements available for individual recipients to meet the regular cap needs as well.

NO Master's Cap Second Preference

The cap for the masters degree quota in the original lottery went to 20,000 so there will be no second round. USCIS also confirmed that the initial lottery was able to accommodate all numbers within the master’s cap. Basically, it is only for the candidates shortlisted in the first round.

The H-1B Visa Importance

Typically, the H-1B visa, allows foreign workers in general (particularly Indian IT specialists) to work for American companies for an extended period of time. US firms, particularly in technology, use the H-1B visa to staff their workplace with accomplished workers. This is an example of how critical it becomes for Indian IT companies to work alongside their software experts in the US in terms of leverage on H-1B visas.

Filing Petitions

Those selected candidates who have been notified through their myUSCIS online account that they are now eligible to file H-1B cap-subject petitions for the beneficiaries. The first filing window for submitting to these petitions was April 1st until June 30,2024. Petitioners who have a winning petition need to file the Petition before the deadline in order to guarantee that they will be part of the Fiscal Year 2025 cap.
